Affiliate disclosure

Today

WeimLife has no affiliate links, advertising or sponsored content. We have no gear or product recommendation pages yet.

If we add affiliate links

In future we may publish gear guides with affiliate links. An affiliate link means that if you click it and buy something, the shop pays WeimLife a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. When we do this:

• Each affiliate link is labelled paid link next to the link itself, and the page says at the top that it contains them, before you reach any recommendation.
• We choose products for the dog first: fit, safety, welfare and value. A commission never changes what we recommend or the order we list it in, and we include products we earn nothing from when they are the better choice.
• No brand can pay for a place in our recommendations, a better position, or a positive review.
• We never recommend prong, choke or shock collars, whatever the commission.
• We do not publish star ratings or scores we have not measured.
• Prices show the date we checked them, because they change.

Sponsorship and free products

If a company ever sponsors a page or sends us something to try, we will say so clearly at the top of that page.

Breeders

We never take payment to list or rank breeders, and we never sell puppy enquiries. See our breeder listing standard.
